Testimonials

Hi, I’m Cynthia.

You may be the person everyone depends on—the one who keeps pushing through, holds everything together, and rarely slows down long enough to ask how you’re actually doing. On the outside, you may appear high-functioning, capable, and composed, while internally feeling overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected from yourself.

Therapy can be a place to finally put some of that weight down.

For more than 13 years, I’ve worked with clients ages 8 and up from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in genuine connection. I believe therapy works best when you feel emotionally safe, understood, and actively involved in the process—not judged, rushed, or talked at.

What It’s Like to Work With Me

My goal is to create a space where you can be honest about what’s working, what isn’t, and what you’re carrying beneath the surface. I take time to understand your patterns, strengths, relationships, stressors, and experiences so that therapy feels personalized to you—not like a one-size-fits-all approach. Clients often come to me feeling stuck in cycles of anxiety, burnout, trauma, emotional overwhelm, relationship stress, or self-doubt. Together, we work toward helping you feel more grounded, emotionally connected, and able to move through life with greater clarity and stability.

Our sessions are interactive and collaborative. I’ll support you in understanding the deeper patterns behind your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while also helping you build practical tools for change in your day-to-day life.

My Therapeutic Approach

My work is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), both of which help clients better understand emotional patterns, regulate distress, and develop healthier ways of coping and relating.

I also incorporate trauma-informed and experiential approaches when appropriate, including:

  •  EMDR
  •  Brainspotting
  •  Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)
  •  Sandtray Therapy

These approaches can be especially helpful for clients working through trauma, longstanding emotional wounds, or experiences that feel difficult to fully process through traditional talk therapy alone. In addition, I support clients who are integrating psychedelic-assisted treatments, including Ketamine therapy, as part of their broader healing process. My approach is grounded, nonjudgmental, and focused on helping clients safely process and integrate their experiences in meaningful ways.

I value ongoing learning and continue to stay current with developments in the mental health field so I can provide care that is both evidence-based and adaptable to each client’s needs.

Who I Work Well With

I work especially well with clients who are insightful, motivated, and ready to better understand themselves and their patterns. Many of my clients are navigating:

  • Anxiety
  • Trauma
  • Burnout
  • Life transitions
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Emotional exhaustion

The pressure of always being “the strong one”

If you’re tired of surviving on autopilot and want support creating a life that feels more connected, balanced, and authentic, therapy can help.

I know reaching out can feel vulnerable, but you don’t have to figure everything out alone. I’d be honored to walk alongside you in the process.
