Adults (18-65) Couples LGBTQIA+ Individuals People of Color
As a multiracial Associate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with Syrian roots, I take an engaged, compassionate, and culturally attuned approach to therapy. I believe healing goes beyond symptom management—it involves understanding how identity, culture, and lived experience shape the way we relate to ourselves and others. As the daughter of an immigrant, I bring both personal and clinical insight into working with individuals across BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities, particularly around belonging, identity, and emotional well-being. My work is grounded in exploring how our relationships—both with others and within ourselves—impact our thoughts, behaviors, and emotional experiences. I integrate trauma-informed care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), feminist theory, and client-centered approaches to create a collaborative, nonjudgmental space where all parts of your experience are welcome. Together, we build insight, deepen self-compassion, and support meaningful, lasting change.
I support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relational challenges, sexual identity, spirituality, shame, and grief. I also work with couples in long-term relationships, marriages, and consensually non-traditional relationship structures. A central part of my work is women’s empowerment. I help women cultivate a more compassionate and attuned relationship with their bodies by addressing body image distress, reducing shame, and fostering a sense of neutrality and peace. Using a trauma-informed, evidence-based approach, I support clients in understanding the roots of their struggles and breaking free from patterns that no longer serve them. My goal is to help you move toward a life that feels more aligned, grounded, vibrant, and self-directed.
I approach therapy with warmth, authenticity, and deep respect for each person’s unique lived experience. My style is compassionate and collaborative, while also honest and gently challenging when growth calls for it. I strive to create a space where you feel safe exploring difficult emotions, identity, and vulnerability without fear of judgment. I believe therapy is most effective when it’s tailored to you—your pace, your goals, and your needs. Our work together will be grounded in trust, openness, and a shared commitment to your growth and well-being.
My path to becoming a therapist is deeply connected to both my personal identity and my passion for understanding the human experience. Growing up as a multiracial woman with Syrian roots and as the daughter of an immigrant, I became aware early on of how culture, identity, and systemic experiences shape mental health. These lived experiences, alongside my clinical training, led me to this work. I am continually inspired by the resilience of the individuals and couples I work with, and I hold a strong belief in each person’s capacity for healing and transformation. My approach reflects both my professional expertise and my commitment to creating inclusive, affirming spaces for all identities.
My goal is to help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself—your identities, patterns, protective parts, desires, and strengths—so you can move through life with greater clarity, ease, self-compassion, and intention. Through our work together, I support you in processing unresolved pain, reducing shame, strengthening your relationship with your body, and building more fulfilling connections with yourself and others. Therapy is a space for exploration, emotional safety, healing, and transformation, and I am here to support you in creating meaningful, lasting change.
