Welcome!

Background

I am an LGBTQIA+ affirming Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a Certification in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C). In 2011 I graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and have since been working with individuals, couples, and families.

My Focus

I’m passionate about supporting individuals and couples navigating infertility, as well as those who are pregnant, postpartum, and/or parenting young children. I also enjoy working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, and challenges with anger management. My background includes school‑based mental health and supporting parents of neurodivergent children, including guidance around Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). In addition, I have experience working with active‑duty service members and their partners.

Approach

I work from a systemic, person-centered perspective and draw from a wide range of evidence-based approaches to meet each client’s unique needs. I primarily lean into Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I believe in tailoring treatment to the individual, practicing with cultural humility, grounding my work in trauma‑informed care, and meeting clients exactly where they are in the moment.

Goals for Clients

My intention with every client is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where your voice is respected and we can navigate the work together. I strive to support your individualized goals and assist you to leave each session feeling validated, supported, and one step closer to the life you imagine.
