Welcome!

My Approach

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I take a deeply compassionate and holistic approach to therapy. I believe that true healing goes beyond symptom management—it is about uncovering the deeper narratives that shape us, recognizing the impact of early experiences, and transforming the way we engage with ourselves and others. My work is grounded in exploring how our relationships, especially those with caregivers, influence our emotional well-being and interpersonal patterns. By integrating trauma-informed care, attachment theory, and evidence-based therapeutic techniques, I create a space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.

My Focus

My expertise lies in helping individuals navigate conflict, process trauma, and explore repressed childhood experiences. Many of the struggles we face in adulthood—whether in relationships, self-worth, or emotional regulation—can be traced back to early experiences. By addressing these foundational wounds, I support clients in breaking free from patterns that no longer serve them and stepping into a life of clarity, purpose, and emotional freedom. Whether working with individuals, couples, or families, my goal is to foster healing that not only alleviates distress but also builds resilience and deeper self-awareness.

My Communication Style

I approach therapy with warmth, authenticity, and a deep respect for each person’s unique journey. My communication style is direct yet compassionate—I believe in creating a space where clients feel safe to explore difficult emotions while also being gently challenged to grow. Therapy is not just about comfort; it is about transformation, and I aim to guide my clients with honesty, encouragement, and unwavering support. I tailor my approach to each individual, ensuring that therapy is a collaborative process that meets their needs, goals, and pace.

My Journey to Mental Healthcare

With over 15 years of experience in the mental health field, I have witnessed the profound impact that skillful and compassionate therapy can have on individuals and families. My passion for this work stems from a deep belief that every person has the capacity for healing and transformation, no matter how challenging their past may be. Founding Hope Matters Institute was an extension of this mission—to create a space where mental health is prioritized, understood, and approached with the care it deserves. Through my own experiences, professional training, and the countless lives I have been privileged to walk alongside, I have come to see that healing is not about erasing the past, but about learning to carry it differently.

My Goals for You

My goal is to help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself—your patterns, your wounds, and your strengths—so that you can live with greater clarity, purpose, and emotional freedom. Through our work together, I want to empower you to break free from limiting beliefs, process unresolved pain, and develop healthier, more fulfilling relationships. Therapy is a journey of self-discovery and transformation, and I am here to support you every step of the way. Healing is possible, and it starts with taking that first step toward understanding and growth.
