Hi, I'm Maritza!
I’m Maritza Rodriguez, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker committed to providing a compassionate, client-centered approach to therapy. My goal is to create a safe and welcoming space where individuals feel heard, supported, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges.
My Experience
I have experience working with clients facing depression, anxiety, stress, life transitions, ADHD, and anger management. My therapeutic approach is rooted in evidence-based techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. These methods allow me to help clients reframe negative thought patterns, set realistic goals, and explore personal strengths to create meaningful and lasting change. I believe in adapting my approach to each person’s unique needs, ensuring therapy feels both relevant and effective.
Throughout My Career
I work best with individuals who are seeking support in managing their mental health or adjusting to life’s transitions. My communication style is warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental, and I strive to build a strong therapeutic relationship where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves openly. I understand that beginning therapy can be an intimidating step, so I aim to make the process approachable, collaborative, and genuinely helpful.
My Approach
When setting goals with clients, I focus on breaking down larger challenges into smaller, achievable steps, helping them build confidence and track progress along the way. Therapy is a partnership, and I work closely with each individual to identify what matters most to them and develop a plan that aligns with their values and aspirations.
My Journey to Mental Healthcare
My journey into this field was shaped by my own experiences with mental health, which deepened my understanding of the importance of support and compassion. I know firsthand how transformative it can be to have someone who truly listens, holds space, and helps navigate difficult emotions. It’s a privilege to be that support for my clients, helping them build resilience, gain clarity, and move forward with confidence.
If you’re ready to take that next step, I’d love to work with you on your journey toward growth and healing.
