Testimonials
Hi, I’m Adriann!
My passion for helping others led me to pursue a career in Marriage and Family Therapy, where I have the privilege of supporting individuals and families as they navigate life’s challenges, heal from difficult experiences, and build more fulfilling lives. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from San José State University before returning to Los Angeles to complete my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Southern California. As someone who believes in lifelong learning, I am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Mental Health Leadership at USC to continue growing as both a clinician and an advocate for meaningful change within the mental health field.
My Approach to Therapy
I believe therapy works best when it feels like a true partnership. You are the expert on your own life, and my role is to provide a safe, supportive space where we can explore your experiences together with curiosity, compassion, and without judgment.
My work is grounded in trauma-informed care and a social justice lens, recognizing that our identities, relationships, culture, and lived experiences all influence how we move through the world. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, I take the time to understand the bigger picture—helping uncover the patterns, experiences, and beliefs that may be contributing to the challenges you’re facing today.
I take a collaborative, process-oriented approach to therapy because meaningful change rarely comes from quick fixes. Healing often begins with feeling understood, and together we’ll work at a pace that feels right for you while building insight, resilience, and lasting growth. Because every person’s story is unique, I draw from a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and tailor treatment to best meet your individual needs and goals.
Areas of Experience
For more than a decade, I have worked in community mental health providing intensive services to children, adolescents, and families involved in complex systems of care. This work has provided extensive experience supporting clients navigating trauma, family conflict, behavioral concerns, crisis intervention, and the unique challenges that can arise when interacting with multiple systems.
I am especially passionate about serving marginalized communities and strive to create an affirming, culturally responsive environment where every client feels respected, valued, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.
What You Can Expect
Beginning therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to face life’s challenges alone. My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, supported, and accepted from the very first session.
Whether you’re working through trauma, navigating a life transition, strengthening relationships, or simply hoping to better understand yourself, we’ll work together to identify your strengths, overcome obstacles, and create meaningful, lasting change. It is truly a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they discover healing, build resilience, and move toward a life that feels more connected, balanced, and authentic.
