Terms & Conditions and Mobile Privacy Statement

Hope Matters Institute (“HMI”) — Effective July 1st, 2026

1. Program Description

If you consent to receive SMS text messages from Hope Matters Institute, you agree to receive customer-care and conversational text messages from us, including appointment reminders and confirmations, scheduling communications, billing notifications, intake and care coordination follow-ups, and replies to messages you send us. Messages are sent from (833) 225-HOPE (833-225-4673) or another HMI-registered number. Reply STOP to opt out; Reply HELP for support. Message and data rates may apply. Messaging frequency may vary.

2. How You Opt In

You may consent to receive text messages from HMI by any of the following methods:

  • Checking the SMS consent checkbox on an HMI intake, registration, or website form where you provide your mobile number.
  • Providing verbal consent when speaking with our staff.
  • Texting HMI first at (833) 225-4673.

Consent to receive text messages is not required as a condition of receiving any treatment or services from HMI.

3. How You Opt Out

You can opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from HMI. After you send STOP, we will send one final message to confirm you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no additional messages. To re-subscribe, reply START or sign up again as described above. You may also opt out by calling (833) 225-4673 or emailing intake@myhopematters.com.

4. Help and Support

For help, reply HELP to any message from HMI, visit hopemattersinstitute.com, call us at (833) 225-4673, or email intake@myhopematters.com. HMI does not monitor text messages in real time and cannot respond to emergencies via SMS. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or dial 911.

5. Message Frequency and Cost

Messaging frequency may vary depending on your appointments and interactions with us. Message and data rates may apply; contact your wireless carrier for details about your plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

6. Mobile Information Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

We collect your mobile phone number, your consent records, and the content of messages exchanged with us. We use this information solely to provide the messaging services described above. Mobile information is shared only with service providers acting on our behalf under written agreements (for example, our telephone and text-messaging service provider) as necessary to deliver messages, or as required by law. Because HMI is a health care provider, any health information contained in text messages is also protected as described in our Notice of Privacy Practices, available on this website.
