Testimonials

Welcome!

Life doesn’t always unfold the way we expect. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, trauma, or simply feeling overwhelmed, therapy offers an opportunity to slow down, gain perspective, and better understand yourself.
I believe every person comes to therapy with a unique story. My role isn’t to make assumptions or fit you into a particular treatment model—it’s to understand who you are, what has shaped your experiences, and what you’re hoping will be different.

As a mother of three, I also have a special interest in working with parents and caregivers as they navigate the many responsibilities that come with raising a family. Becoming a parent often brings unexpected emotions, challenges, and even opportunities to better understand ourselves. Whether you’re adjusting to life after having a child, experiencing pregnancy or postpartum anxiety or depression, or recognizing that your own childhood experiences are influencing the way you parent, therapy can be a place to explore those experiences with support, compassion, and curiosity.

No matter what brings you to therapy, my hope is that you feel heard, understood, and supported as we work together toward meaningful and lasting change.

My Approach

I believe that therapy should reflect the individual sitting across from me—not just the concerns that brought them through the door.

Before deciding what approach is likely to be most helpful, I want to understand your experiences, relationships, strengths, and the challenges you’re facing. Some clients are looking for practical tools they can begin using immediately, while others want to better understand long-standing patterns that continue to affect their thoughts, emotions, or relationships. Most people benefit from a combination of both.

Depending on your needs and goals, I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and supportive talk therapy, always adapting our work together to fit your unique experiences and what feels most helpful for you.

Areas of Focus

  • I enjoy working with:
  • Parents and caregivers
  • Pregnancy and postpartum concerns
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Trauma

What You Can Expect

When we meet, my first priority isn’t deciding what intervention to use—it’s getting to know you. I want to understand what has brought you to therapy, what matters most to you, and what you’re hoping will feel different.

I tend to ask thoughtful questions, listen carefully, and work collaboratively with my clients. Some days we’ll focus on processing difficult experiences or emotions. Other days we’ll work on practical strategies you can begin using right away. Therapy isn’t about following a script—it’s about finding an approach that makes sense for you and your life.

Above all, I hope you’ll leave sessions feeling understood, supported, and better equipped to navigate whatever challenges you’re facing.
