Hello!

About Me

My path into mental health began with a fascination for people and the stories that shaped them — how lived experience influences the way we think, feel, and relate to ourselves and others. Over time I became especially drawn to helping people see that their struggles usually make sense in the context of what they’ve been through. I do this work because I believe healing happens when someone feels genuinely seen and supported, and it’s a privilege to walk with clients as they rediscover their strengths and reconnect with who they want to become.

My Background

I’ve worked in both psychiatric hospital and outpatient settings with adolescents and adults navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, and major life transitions. That work has included individual therapy, psychoeducational and process groups, and close collaboration with multidisciplinary treatment teams across different levels of care. It’s taught me to meet people with empathy while grounding treatment in evidence-based methods tailored to their goals.

My Approach

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and trauma-informed. I start by creating a space where you can explore difficult experiences without fear of judgment. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based practices, I help clients build insight, develop practical coping skills, and make lasting change. Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, I work to understand the whole person — the patterns, the strengths, and the direction you actually want to move in.

Working Together

My goal is for you to feel more grounded, understood, and confident in handling life’s challenges. I hope our work brings real relief from what’s weighing on you now, along with a deeper understanding of yourself and the patterns that have shaped you. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I’ll work to build an environment where you can strengthen self-compassion, develop healthier coping strategies, and move toward a life that fits your values.
